why didnt i go to sleep? anyways. doing a 3$ rebuy for entry into sunday's 200$ tournament on UB.....at 630am AZ time....kill me....ok...goal here is not to rebuy or addon cuz, well....that'll make me try and we dont want that...ahead im typing hands i play as i play them....

59 people, only top pays the entry, so far....

strategy, its a rebuy...rebuy=morons=play only top ten hands for first hour. never go allin with flush draw on board cuz u WILL get called....never go allin with only top pair past the turn...

Start out in BB...just my luck..nothing good...i win it by checking down....

if i can end the rebuy peiod in the middle of the tourney ill be happy. sure there will be a few with huge stacks, but they are either morons, or benificaries of morons...ill find out quick once they sit down with me for a bit....

44.…raised ahead of me to 200...I call….nothing on board…I take a stab…bet 300...instantly the guy is allin….with a K26 board…no draw….so…hes got me or hes got shit…not going to risk 3000 to find out….low Pocket pairs are tough for me to play…take a lot of balls to push if u don’t hit a set or arent shortstacked…this part of my game I need to improve…12130 7/38.

JcQc ….raise to 500 from a guy whos got a stack but playing every hand….I call…flop 6c 7c Js….I check…he bets 500...I raise to 2100 he calls….Ks on turn…disaster im thinking…but im allin for 2500 left….he shows 6 6 and my club never comes….well GG me….I knew I was sunk when he called….


Overall Assessment: played well…made 2 mistakes…one with 77 and the last one….neither were terrible by any account, just unfortunate to run into those….you win tournaments by avoiding those tough calls… if I win either im at the final table…instead I finished 23rd…..comments are welcome….

Welcome to the Blog my friends. I've created such blog since everyone and their mother has one.

My story? Here it goes.

Began playing in high school, dinking around with draw and seven card stud...nothing serious.

come superbowl 38 (pats over panthers), i hosted a large game, in which we played holdem. i knew so little. Didnt even know what a side pot was (won beadle about 30$ extra). All i knew was i wanted to get better.

Our own faction got started with me beadle and tim. I, by far, am the most in-flux. Tim is a solid player with great reads. Beadle is super selective agressive...if u dont know what that means....stop reaing and go to another site. I am the most agressive preflop-the river. Which also makes my bankroll fluxuate incredibly.

Eventually, my game became very good, especially with hi-stakes limit. I ran my bankroll up to about 3000$ playing 5/10 holdem. The month of February was tough though. Couldn't win. Bankroll went to 250$ and i stopped playing for a few months, save a home game a week or 2.

I'm finally getting back into it slowly. I've rethought my strategy and read various literature and run hands through my head many a time. All in the effort to improve my game.

I've now limited myself to focus on three games: NL holdem tournies, PL omaha , and NL holdem heads up. Ring games are no longer. I'm sick of the swings and the money. I'd rather lose 50 bucks over the course of 4 hours than 1000.

Anyways, i have a goal. To go to Vegas this summer (06) and win a sattelite into the 1500$ PL omaha WSOP event.
